NEW CUSTOMER: Rothman Orthopaedic Institute
Rothman Orthopaedic Institute Adds Interlace Health Electronic Informed Consent to Health System’s Infrastructure
Since its founding in 1970, Rothman Orthopaedic Institute has grown from a single Philadelphia office into one of the nation’s largest and most-respected orthopaedic practices. As Rothman Orthopaedic Institute has grown in capability, staff and reputation, it has broadened its reach into dozens of communities throughout the Philadelphia suburbs, New Jersey and New York.
Interlace Health will be automating their Informed Consent process integrated to eClinicalWorks. Informed Consent by Interlace Health does away with paper, clipboards, scanners – and even electronic signature devices. Staff can quickly and easily select the correct from within the patient’s EHR, so it’s always accurate. Content can be standardized, and fields marked as required, improving risk management and compliance. The patient reads and signs the form on a tablet or computer, at the bedside or office. Staff then self-signs the form and date-time stamps are automatically applied. The signed consent is archived into the EHR – making documentation instantly visible to the care team.
