Centro Cardiovascular Puerto Rico Adds Interlace Health eSignature Solution

Centro Cardiovascular is located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The building is a nine-story structure, with invasive procedure laboratories, operating rooms, clinical laboratories, radiology, non-invasive laboratories, nuclear medicine, pharmacy, two intensive care units (Cardiovascular Intensive and Surgical Intensive) and four floors for patient hospitalization. It has a parking lot of 600 cars. The hospital has capacity for 192 beds, in use 124. There are six operating rooms. Cath labs, operating rooms, and surgical intensive care areas are on the same floor, allowing communication between these areas through internal corridors without the use of elevators. Their mission is to: Provide the highest quality health care services through the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of cardiovascular conditions in the most cost-effective manner, generating measurable benefits for our community. Foster the environment for the education and training of health professionals and promote research and development in a manner consistent with continuous quality improvement.

Centro Cardiovascular deployed Interlace Health’s eSignature solution at registration to enhance their MEDITECH environment. These solutions seamlessly integrate with MEDITECH and allow the hospital to have more time and resources to focus on patient care. They will be rolling this out throughout their entire Cadrio y Caribe Hospital.
