Interlace Takes Joy in Their Holiday Tradition
It is an Interlace Health tradition to help spread holiday cheer by adopting families for the holidays. In early December 2022, Interlace teamed up with Soldiers’ Angels to directly benefit families in their Adopt-a-Family program.
Soldiers’ Angels offers a wide range of programs and services to provide aid, comfort, and resources to the military, veterans, and their families. They support deployed service members, veterans at VA Hospitals, and provide medical technology to wounded soldiers. In addition to supporting service members themselves, Soldier’s Angels also help military families. The Soldiers’ Angels Holiday Adopt-A-Family program connects donors with qualified military and veteran families that could use some help providing a holiday celebration for their families. Donors provide eligible families with (at a minimum) gifts for each child and a grocery gift card to put towards a holiday meal. Interlace Health was able to provide more than the minimum for three US military families.
Together Interlace employees donated money, purchased toys, clothing, bikes, art supplies, and more that the three families requested. Team members then gathered in the St. Louis office to wrap the gifts in festive holiday packages and ship them to the families to receive in time for Christmas.
In total, employees contributed over $1,600, which Interlace matched, giving each family an additional $580 gift card. As Interlace Health leads with heart, adopting families for the holidays will continue to be a valued way employees come together to directly give back to families that give so much.
